HOMEWARES / BRIC + BRAC COORDINATOR

In this role you will join the team at our Punchbowl warehouse, responsible for the processing, pricing our homewares, bric and brac and more.

 

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate and perform the processing of stock within homewares on a daily and weekly basis
  • Work cohesively within a dynamic team environment 
  • Contribute to the development of warehouse systems and processes on an ongoing basis
  • Report and provide feedback on changes and observations in stock and market trends
  • Meet KPI's and targets
  • Manage a well organised and efficient work station
  • Adapt workflow to changes in market supply and demand
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of homewares and brands
  • Maintain a weekly stock cycle
     

About you

  • Highly organised with a strong work ethic
  • Experience in second hand apparel based warehouse processing
  • A very strong knowledge of homewares, antiques, pop culture and more
  • Great communication skills with an ability to apply management feedback to your work processes as well as give feedback on improving those processes
  • An ability to work with efficiency, organisation and speed
  • Physical fitness and capability to work in a fast paced warehouse environment
  • A keen eye for detail and meticulous work ethic

INVENTORY COORDINATOR

We currently have 6 stores spread across the CBD specialising in high quality and on trend clothing, accessories and homewares. As a company we take pride in our contribution to developing the circular economy and sustainable practices whilst delivering an affordable and creative avenue to shop for our customers.

In this role you will join the team at our Punchbowl warehouse, responsible for the processing, curation, pricing and allocation of stock to our six stores across Sydney. 

 

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate and perform the processing of stock within womenswear apparel and accessory departments on a weekly basis
  • Work cohesively within a dynamic team environment 
  • Contribute to the development of warehouse systems and processes on an ongoing basis
  • Report and provide feedback on changes and observations in stock and market trends
  • Meet KPI's and targets
  • Manage a well organised and efficient work station
  • Adapt workflow to changes in market supply and demand
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of trends within the fashion industry
  • Maintain a weekly stock cycle across our six stores
  • Contribute to the planning and organisation of opening new stores 
  • Sort, process, allocate and curate womenswear orders weekly
     

About you

  • Highly organised with a strong work ethic
  • Experience in retail apparel based warehouse processing
  • A very strong knowledge of textiles, vintage clothing, apparel brand names and designer labels
  • A good understanding of current trends within the fashion industry and and local Sydney culture
  • Great communication skills with an ability to apply management feedback to your work processes as well as give feedback on improving those processes
  • An ability to work with efficiency, organisation and speed
  • Physical fitness and capability to work in a fast paced warehouse environment
  • A keen eye for detail and meticulous work ethic

UTURN is leading the Australian circular fashion economy with our carefully selected second-hand vintage and designer clothing and accessories.

We believe that SUSTAINABILITY in fashion means, positive OPPORTUNITY for customers, the environment, and our COMMUNITY.

With a fast-growing number of stores across Sydney’s most fashion forward locations, we look forward to welcoming a new Manager into our Newtown Store and into our UTURN leadership team.

The right person for this role will have: Proven experience in high volume retail sales and operational store management.
